Freight

About UPS shipments (packages under 150 lb) to residential addresses:

Our "FREE Freight" offer applies only to the contiguous (lower 48) United States. Items marked "FREE Freight" shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada will incur extra shipping charges but our shopping cart does not calculate those charges. We will prorate shipping charges but you will need to contact our sales office for the amount due and payment instructions.

Expedited shipping:

Items marked "FREE Freight" means FREE UPS Ground or standard LTL truck shipments. We can ship these items with premium shipping (Next Day Air, 3 Day Select, etc) but there will be a prorated extra charge for this service. You will need to contact our sales office for the amount due and payment instructions.

Any Canadian taxes or customs fees will be collected by UPS or, in the case of freight shipments, by your customs broker. UPS charges additional fees that are collected upon delivery an explanation of these fees can be found (here).

Items not marked "Free Freight!" will have freight charges added as a separate line on your order. You can get a freight estimate before placing your order on the "View Cart" page.

About TRUCK shipments to residential addresses:

We are not able to ship drums of chain to a residential address. Residential addresses include private homes, apartments, churches, schools (K–12 grade), pre-schools, day cares, camps, farms, public storage facilities, business operating within a private residence, and other such locations not generally recognized as commercial locations and shall apply to the entire premises

You have two alternatives:

  1. Arrange to have your shipment sent to a commercial address where a fork lift is available.
  2. We can have the trucking company hold your order at their terminal nearest you for your pickup. There is a $40.00 non-negotiable fee from the trucking company for calling you when the shipment is ready for pick up. If you do not pick up your shipment as arranged, there may be additional storage fees as well that would be your responsibility.

All other orders will have freight charges added to the invoice at the lowest available rate.
